Palm Beach-Worth Avenue Window Shopping in July : Palm Beach in July is a great time to shoot shop windows and their reflections, because no people are around. Plus it was a Sunday morning, when only a Starbucks was open, even better.
You can order prints here, coffee mugs or t-shirts too. "Proof" won't be on them. For larger than 11x14, email me for higher resolution.

Payne's Prairie, Florida, Vol. One: 2009 in Progress (Sandhill Cranes, Gators, and Flora) : IF YOU DON'T SEE THE PICTURES, PLEASE "RELOAD" THIS WEBPAGE A COUPLE TIMES (a bug in Mac Safari ver. 3 browsers).
Every winter, thousands of sandhill cranes come honking into town and settle on the prairie, joining the many other wildlife species that seem unfazed by us humans hiking on trails to stare at them. These are being shot during 2009 as seasons change, with my mini camcorder Pentax OptioMX, a Pentax K10D SLR, a Sony TRV950 camcorder, and a MotoZINE ZN-5 cell phone camera starting in January, 2009. Also shot video for later edit. ORDER PRINTS thru this site (8x10 or smaller recommended. For larger sizes, contact me JeffKnee@Capturimage.com ). Thank you.

Gainesville "Secret Garden Tour" May 9, 2009 : The Garden Club's annual spring garden tour of area homes was an educational experience. At the end we had a lunch and an informative speaker about edible plants we can grow. Then a few of us were given a bonus tour of Alan & Ellen's home landscape, which had too many flowers for my cell camera to handle (the battery ran out)! These are 5 megapixel size images, good for even big prints.
Many thanks to Ellen and Alan Shapiro, of Grandiflora wholesale nursery http://www.grandifloragrown.com.

PROOFS of Phillips Center Gala, Jan. 31, 2009 : If you don't see the thumbnails, hit the Refresh button a couple times (bug in Safari browsers). These are 2MP size "proofs", good for 4x6 and 5x7 prints, which you may crop when ordering here on Smugmug.
About 400 shots were taken, and of those I selected about 150 to quick-edit for Brightness and Sharpness or Softness. If you see a shot you like in the album's start, but it appears dark or you appear too sharp, see if it was edited later in the album. Those shots were added with "Edit" in the filename-captions.
8x10 or bigger custom prints are available by special request.
For questions, refer to the filename captions below each large photo and email: CAPTURIMAGE@COX.NET

Fans Celebrate Gators' BCS Win, January 8, 2009 : 28,000 fans poured onto a 20-block stretch of University Avenue when the Gators defeated Oklahoma in the BCS National Championship game at midnight. Police said the fans were well behaved, with only one arrest (a college girl for abusing a cop).
Police have had enough practice by now. This is the 4th time the football or basketball teams have won national championships in 3 years!
